General Summary:

Climb Channel Solutions, is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Sophos Brand Sales Specialist position. The Sophos Brand Sales Specialist’s (“BSS”) primary focus is building and maintaining relationships with Sophos reseller partners, and solely responsible for overall sales of the Sophos product line. The BSS, serving as an extension of Sophos, is responsible for sales, partner enablement and education, execution of Sophos based marketing programs, as well as providing a high level of quote-to-order services on behalf of Sophos. In addition to owning Sophos relationships, the BSS is responsible for driving sales growth, market share, and gross margin.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Building, maintaining, and owning the strategic relationships with Sophos as well as vendor contacts
  • Developing and maintaining excellent working knowledge of partner processes, including partner price methods, registrations discount pricing practices and expectations regarding all quote-to-order actions
  • Maintaining knowledge of diverse industry trends, technologies and routes to market
  • Understanding of both industry trends and vendor partner technical value proposition in order to effectively approach the appropriate individuals or groups of individuals with the right Sophos partner offerings
  • Recruiting and introducing new reseller partners to Sophos
  • Enablement and education of Climb and reseller sales reps
  • Executing Marketing programs
  • Overall ownership of sales for Sophos product line

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • Deep understanding of selling principles, order management, project management, and operations
  • Ability to manage gross margin and demonstrate financial acumen required to close complex transactions
  • Ability to present in both technical and nontechnical terms based on audience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of 2 years’ experience in software channel and/or marketing
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
